MidA RPB Ocean Plan Public Webinar

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (MidA RPB) is pleased to share that it has submitted the Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Action Plan to the National Ocean Council (NOC) for certification, as noticed in the Federal Register.  The MidA RPB revised the Plan after considering all public comments received during the 60-day public comment period and during the open house public listening sessions hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) throughout the region. A detailed response to comments document describing how the MidA RPB incorporated public input is posted on the MidA RPB website, along with a Frequently Asked Questions document. The MidA RPB appreciates the efforts of all stakeholders and members of the public who provided comments and participated throughout the Plan development process.

The MidA RPB invites all interested stakeholders to a public webinar that will provide an overview of the final Plan and a discussion of the next steps for implementation. A registration link for this webinar will be provided in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please hold Thursday, December 8, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and plan to join the MidA RPB for this webinar opportunity.

The MidA RPB continues to welcome comments from the public during implementation, which you can do by sending an email to the MidA RPB at any time: MidAtlanticRPB@boem.gov. Please check the MidA RPB website for updates and additional information.
