New York Bight Call for Information and Nominations
On April 11, 2018, BOEM published a Call for the New York Bight and opened a 45-day public comment period available until May 29, 2018. If you can, please familiarize yourself with this document prior to the meeting. More information on how to comment, maps and GIS shapefiles for the Call can be found here: https://www.boem.gov/NY-Bight/.
Note: On May 9, the intergovernmental NY Bight task force meets in Newark. The public can observe and provide comments during designated times at that meeting in addition to the May 8th meeting. BOEM will provide highlights of discussions from the May 8 to inform task force members of fishing concerns.
Please use the following link to RSVP for the meeting by May 4, 2018 to help us provide sufficient space.
