Introducing the Linear Measurement Tool
Draw a line to measure the distance from one point to another with the Linear Measurement Tool in Marine Planner. The easy-to-use feature was created at the request of users and provides accurate distances in kilometers, miles and nautical miles.
To use it, simply click on the ruler icon at the top right, click on the map to begin measuring, click again to add new segments, and double-click to finish drawing the line. To make the line disappear, click on the ‘X’ where the ruler icon was or in the dialogue box to the bottom of the map.
Distance figures should be assumed to be approximate.
