2020 Capitol Hill Ocean Week

CHOW 2020Join the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and visionaries in ocean and Great Lakes policy and conservation on June 9 for a day of plenaries, panels, and networking. CHOW 2020 will focus on the global issue of protecting biodiversity. The breadth of life in our ocean and Great Lakes is astounding. Building a sustainable global economy that protects nature is critical to people’s health and well-being.

CapitolHillOceanWeek.org will be your hub for stimulating discussions. We are planning a full day of activities, including plenaries and concurrent breakout sessions on how science and technology are advancing our understanding of the marine environment, the role of protected areas in conserving biodiversity, and how to engage people as stewards. We value the networking that occurs at CHOW, and we intend to create virtual spaces for those essential connections to continue. We will showcase the amazing work of our partners through a virtual exhibit hall and facilitate social gathering through a virtual closing happy hour.
