BOEM Central Atlantic 2 Public Meetings

During the 60-day public comment period (August 22 – October 21, 2024) on the Call for Information and Nominations (Call) for a second regional offshore wind energy sale in the Central Atlantic, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will hold a series of in-person public meetings in September to answer questions and collect public comments. Individuals may comment during the comment period by navigating to Regulations.gov and searching for BOEM-2024-0040, or by attending one of the public meetings below.

The Open Houses will provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Central Atlantic planning process through interactive stations and individualized discussions with BOEM staff. These meetings will include opportunities for provision of written comments but will not include a formal oral comment period.

Representatives of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) and the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Data Portal team will have informational tables available at these meetings.
