Offshore Wind Energy & Environment Symposium

The New Jersey Environmental Lobby (NJEL) will host an Offshore Wind Energy and Environment Symposium at Monmouth University on July 17.

The event will offer a comprehensive exploration of the history of offshore wind energy in Europe and the USA, and focus on the implications for the economy, environment and marine life in the New Jersey-New York area and beyond.

A draft agenda and registration form can be found on the NJEL website. Early bird registration rates are available until July 1 and sponsorships can be purchased through June 25.

The symposium will be held in the Bey Hall auditorium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8:15 a.m. and a cocktail hour/networking reception will follow from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
